Anushka Sharma is an Bollywood actress and producer. She is among the most highly paid actor in Bollywood, and is recognized for her efforts. Nush is her brand of clothing for women. Anushka Sharma is child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya UP on 1 May 1988. Anushka Sharma's father was a retired colonel. Her mother is a homemaker. The elder brother of Anushka Karnesh Sharma served in Merchant Navy and now is a film producer. Anushka Sharma graduated from Army School Bangalore. Mount Carmel College Bangalore is where she earned her bachelor of Arts. Anushka is a graduate with a Master of Arts degree in Economics. Anushka wanted to become either a model or journalist rather than an actor. Anushka moved to Mumbai following her graduation in which she was enrolled at Elite Model Management. Style consultant Prasad Bidapa groomed Anushka. In 2017 Anushka made her modelling debut in the Wendell Rodricks' Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was selected by the designer to be his final model for spring 2007's Spring Collection. The modeling career of Anushka began during Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. The model has since been featured in numerous campaigns, which include campaigns for Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma alongside her modelling profession, enrolled in an acting academy and began giving auditions for film. Anushka Sharma made her acting debut in the 2008 film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Anushka Sharma took her time to get ready and did not take the test in impromptu. Later she was contracted for three movies with the Yash Raj Films label. The film in which she starred performed the part of a young bride to a middle-aged man (the character Shah Rukh Khan was playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's 'Badmash Company" alongside Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. This movie was met with mixed review. In the same year, Anushka Sharma was seen in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' with Ranveer Singh, in which she played the role of a middle-class Punjabi girl who starts her own business of wedding planning. The movie got positive reviews. Anushka had completed the contract for three films in partnership with Yash Raj Films.
