Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani was born on February 26, 1976, at Falmouth Jamaica. He is one the richest and most famous Reggae singers. In the cult film of the same name Shottas in which he was a co-star with Wyclef. Ky-Mani, who signed with Shang Records for his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son album and songs like Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the number one British reggae album chart) and"Who The Cap" (remix), Sensimelia and more all added to the rising recognition for the new reggae of his generation. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue an acclaimed cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley performed for the first time at Midem, an international festival of music which was held in Miami. Marley performed on the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcasted to 36 other countries. Marley became the subject of bidding wars. He signed with Gee Street/V2 Records in 1997 where he completed a collaboration with label mate P.M. Dawn who record
